Playa Del La Joya, Torre Nueva
A lovely secluded sandy beach cove with great swimming and a hilly area above the beach heading back towards Torreneueva, which is great for early evening cruising. Take everything you need including water as there are no facilities whatsoever.
Crowd: It's a nudist beach primarily for the Spanish. So a mix of people go there, very few children and a strong gay element at the further of the beach. A good age range and mix from the 18-20 Bi guy (Thanks Marco), upwards.

Located about 6km from the Motril Port junction on the N-340. Drive east from Motril on the N-340 for 4 or 5 km, keep traveling on the N-340 driving through Torrneueva. As you exit the town, on your right you will see some path on a hill. This is roughly where you will end up. Drive slowly up the hill and after 2~300m you will see a stop sign and a right turn onto a track next to some greenhouses. Indicate right and SLOW DOWN because the junction is concealed. Take the next turn to the right (unmade but quite good). If you miss this turn just take the next turn right as the two join up. Park your car in this layby, in the space provided.
Walk from here along a footpath signed Playa Del La Joya. the path is 300m long. At the top of the path you now have 2 choices, right and up thehill a bit for a cruisy area or down the steps to the nuidist beach. The cruisiest area is at the far end.
