Swimming Hole

Follow the signs from Nambour to Mapleton - turn right into Image Flat Rd and follow this for about 8kms then it continues as a gravel road - Kiamba Rd. (Go past left turn Atkinson Rd) and about 200 mtrs on cross the bridge and park anywhere there. Walk down to the river and turn left over the rocks - bit of a scramble for about 100 mtrs to a huge swimming hole. (or from Yandina - Kiamba Rd is off Cooloolabin Rd)
It is easier to walk down the left side of the creek than crossing initially.

  Best times: Anytime but usually lunch times and after about 3pm.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:The large swimming hole is alongside a sheer cliff face - so all around the swimming hole
• Nudity / Policy:Yes / Best for a tan at lunchtimes when the sun shines into the narrow valley.
• Wheelchair Accessible:No
• Warnings:You may find families at the spot where the path from the parking joins the river which is about 50mtrs from the road.... so just go over the rocks to the left - it is easier not to cross the river at this point.
