This long stretch of beach is officially authorized as clothing optional. It is usually called La Grande Cosse after the resort but is also known as Plage de Pissse-Vache after the lagoon located behind the southern end of the beach. The crowd is mixed, gay men tend to gather at the south end of the beach. (To the right as you face the water).

From Narbonne head north on N9 for 5kms to Coursan, then east for 7kms. via D31 & D1118 to Fleury. From Fleury go north on D618 for less than 1 km. to roundabout then east on route 718 for several kms to hamlet of La Pageze, then right fork at sign which says 'La Grande Cosse" Follow signs to beach which is adjacent to naturist resort.
