Take the A9 motorway, exit at junction 37 following signs for Gruissan on the D32 road. Just before the town take a left on the D332 and turn onto a track road before you nreach the Ayguardes campsite. Keep driving till you reach the beach (the first lagoon is busy with families) then go north (left turn when you hit the beach (dry firm tracks are clear to follow) Park up and wander away from the beach to the Lagoon. There are trees and some nude sunbathing. Catch someones eye and wander into one of the patches of trees or just strip off in a hollow in the dunes.

  • Hours:Early summer before July 14 or later after August 30th there are fewer families to avoid. Peak season the families go away after 4.30pm.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Watch for guys wandering alone away from the beach or along the tracks between camping areas.
    Cruisiest Spots: The track between lagoon and beach.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Nudity is tolerated except in the busy peak school holiday period.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Families and old women with dogs.
    Warnings: The main beach has sections supervised by lifeguards, but they don't care about the lagoon area or the other sections of beach.
