  • Great spot for the scenery - can park much closer where a sign warns "permission only" - not a problem - they do that against vandals - lots of private spots - local drinking spot - spectacular 130' gorge and cascade - lots of privacy -

  • I'm one of those dog walkers. just because I have dogs with me doesn't mean I'm not looking for fun. Dogs are just a great cover.

  • "Cascades--Pratt Valley Preserve" would be a more correct title for this location, to avoid confusion with the actual Pratt Nature Center, a nature preserve and day camp (not really known for cruising) about 5 miles away on Paper Mill Rd. The directions given here are correct-- pull off in the dirt area on Cascade Rd. at the entrance to the preserve, and the trails branch out from there. (Clatter Valley Park--a higher traffic area--can be accessed from Old Town Farm Rd. on 67, or by continuing on Cascade Rd. and turning left on Town Farm.) Hope that clears up any confusion.
