On warm summer days, you'll frequently find a handful of gay men sunbathing in the buff on the bluffs above the Hudson river, immediately west of Fort Tryon Park. The Washington Heights neighbourhood is located away from the bustle of Manhatten and is a bit off the beaten path. This area along the Hudson is relatively secluded and perhaps trhe safest nude sunning spot in the city, but discretion is in order nonetheless.
Crowd: Mostly gay men.

It's also listed here as "Riverside Path Below Dyckman Street." It gets very busy on sunny days, mid-day to evening is best. I'm going out there today.
