High Gosforth Park

Is This Your Business?

This is an extensive area of mixed woodland. Lots of cover and very busy. I did see a couple of dog walkers but if you score, make sure that they can't see you!
Crowd: This was my first visit here and I was amazed at just how busy it was and how well known! Pity it has not been advertised previously on here!***br***All types, young and old. I went at 11am and met a couple of guys within 50yards of the entrance. There were loads of guys moving round all the time, with cars coming and going. I returned about an hour later and there were new faces all around. It is a very popular spot.

Neighbourhood: Near Racecourse

Who's Coming

This was my first visit here and I was amazed at just how busy it was and how well known! Pity it has not been advertised previously on here!

Take exit from A1 from the north or south for Gosforth Park Racecourse. Enter by main gate and continue past all the racecourse buildings driving east. There is a large car parking area on the left just after the main buildings. The cruising area is in the wooded area at the extreme bottom end of this car park. You can drive in from the Forest Hall side direct from Great Lime Road. If approaching from the East it is the car park on your right immediately you come out of the trees.

  • Hours:From about 10 in the morning onwards. I understand it gets very busy in the evenings.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just wander into the woods and keep your eyes open. Most guys around are looking for what you are! A smile and a nod works wonders!
Cruisiest Spots: All around. I am posting this in December and I found that there was still lots of cover from rhododendron bushes. We were only 5 yards from the road but it was invisible from where we were.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:A couple of guys stayed in their cars, having a , but that may just be their thing!
Warnings: It is a popular area for general recreation and walking so show a bit of discretion.
