Coach Lane

Is This Your Business?

Extensive woodland just outside the city centre. There is another area further down Coach Lane toward the airport which is listed on cruise (Havana Nature Reserve) but I reckon this area has more cover and options to cruise. Lots of tracks leading off from the carpark into the trees. Reasonable cover and lots of places to go. Once the sun is down you'll have no problems getting a bit of privacy. Good mix of younger and older guys turn up.

Neighbourhood: Hazelrigg/Wideopen

From A1 turn off for Wideopen/Gosforth racecourse. Follow signs to Wideopen and get onto the B1318. After about 200m take your fist left onto Coach Lane. Drive along this road, passing under the A1 and through Hazelrigg. About 500m out of Hazelrigg turn left at the brown sign for Three Hills. Park up and enjoy.

  • Hours:Dog walkers around during the day. Best time is when it starts to get dark.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:This is a great spot so please clear up afterwards (used etc...). You can catch someones eye in the carpark or just head onto the woodland tracks. If you're walking toward someone when you pass them just cough a little if you're interested. If the other guy coughs back then consider the ice broken and find yourself a nice spot for some action.
  • Nudity / Policy:Not a problem once it's getting dark and the actions picking up. Just use your common sense.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Not really as you need to get off the main track for a little privacy.
  • Warnings:I've never had any problems here.
