More of a "Bi" Bar than a "Gay" Bar. It's well understood and accepted that this is a "Guy's Bar" where guys like enjoy some good male bonding after a few pints.
Crowd: This is a "guy's guy" type of bar that sports jocks, and married men without their wives. Always a game on and they sponsor some local (mens) community sports teams so guys like to come in after the game to "tie one on".

Exit 17 Mass Pike. Park on Washington St. or parking lot at Sheraton or parking lot behind Cahner's Building.
Cross street: Peabody St. (2 blocks west of Galen St. on Washington)

  • Hours:Mon-Fri 11:30am-11:30pm
    Sat-Sun 12pm-11:30pm
    Best times: Thurs - Sun nights.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Leave the inner door open when you enter the men's room if you want to invite the next guy. Or ask "do you mind if I share" when you are in line for the men's room.
    Cruisiest Spots: Cruising happens here nightly as guys on "guys night out" get together for some embibing and male boding. Cruisies spot is the men's room. It is a "single hole" but guys often share (we used to call this crossing swords when I was a kid) due to the long lines. There is an outside door with a waiting area before the inside door, so it's not so obvious to the patrons in the bar as to whether you are in the waiting area or sharing the one toilet. If you leave the door unlocked or ajar, it's understood that you are inviting the next guy to share.
  • Nudity / Policy:Discretion advised. While it's well known that this is major crusing bar for "straight" and bi guys, they certainly don't endorse on the premises.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Not sure. Small and crowded. Not the easiest place to maneuver if mobility is a problem.
  • Warnings:The place is small and crowded. Tough to get too "hot and heavy" in the men's room since it's small and there's a continuous stream of guys. Best to hook up here and then take it off site for action. Although I have gotten several nice blowjobs in the men's room particularly on "quieter" nights.
