It's a big parking lot with a small park, with restrooms. The Men's room has a between the and toilet. It has electrical lights with a light switch so you can have lights if you want them or NOT. Running water, especially in the sink, if you wish to clean up. There are no attendants or any one watching the place. The restrooms doors are on the left side of the building. Huge parking lot with lots of private areas and sheltered picnic tables and paths.

Neighbourhood: Highland Park

If you are using computer directions or a gps locator in-car machine. The park entrance is directly across street from: 21 Park Rd., North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. Maybe this will help you find it easier. Very active spot and very hard to get caught by police there. Can see and hear someone approaching well in advance. Entrance to Men's room not very visible from drive or parking lot either. Easy to make quick escape or relocate if someone like police are coming. OR if someone that you are not interested in is approaching. Need more MEN to and join in.
  • Hours:ONLY daylight hours. Sign on chain link gate, says ANYONE inside the park after dark, CAN be arrested. So only be there during daylight hours and best around 3 p.m. and AFTER, until dark.
    Best times: Update 11/14/2008: park is now closed for the winter. Gate is closed during the day.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Go inside the restroom or hang out in your car or under the main shelter picnic tables. You can turn on the light inside the restroom IF you wish or not. Plenty of light filtering in even without the lights on. Hang around even if nobody is there at that time, men cruise thru all the time. For quickies. There is a peep hole to see the parking lot from inside the Men's room. To see someone coming. Can even hang out and wait inside the men's room.
  • Nudity / Policy:Can be nude INSIDE the men's room, if "changing" clothes or "cleaning yourself up" Have seen several MEN nude in there and it was hot, to start the action.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Yes, fully handicap accessible
  • Warnings:Can be slow at times. Don't give up, just hang out. Someone will be along soon. Make sure you are out of the area before dark and don't go in before sunrise. Police do cruise thru after dark and during dark hours, to make sure nobody is hanging out during night hours. They will ticket or arrest as sign warns.

  • Highland Park is now open. It has been open for the past couple of DAYS. The glory hole is still in the men's room. EVERYTHING is exactly as it was last summer. So happy cruising / sexing there. There is no running water so far though, this year. So bring your own water if you want to clean up afterward.

  • Sad to say. I have called the Smooth Park Pool operator who also over sees all the public parks in N.Wilkesboro. He says they are considering and probably will NOT open Highland Park this year. There were too many complaints by neighbors and others visiting the park last year of the same people hanging out down there. He said, "Too many of the same people hanging out there for the wrong reasons." So he said more than likely they will NOT open this park except for reservations ONLY. I think we should have some complaints going into the town manager. This is a tax funded / maintained park. For use by ALL citizens. This CITY park is maintained by OUR tax dollars, so something should be done, to force them to open this park EVERY year.

  • No, just went by there yesterday the 12th and the gates still closed and locked. I guess they are going to wait until during or after Memorial Day weekend. If they are not open by then. I'm going to call the town hall of N.Wilkesboro that handles the parks dept. and ask them why. That my family is wanting to hold a picnic there. And ask when if not then, will it be open.
    By the way beautiful stranger would love to have some of that, in your profile pic. looking good. Would like to pleasure that for you. Just let me know.
    Blood Creek Overlook listing under Wilkesboro on here, has glory holes, in case you're interested. Pretty cruisy there, I guess since this park is not open yet and it's out of any town district. No city police there at all and hardly any rangers and no sherriff's dept either.

  • Just checked today at noon. Park gate is still closed and locked. Guess it may not open until May or something. Anybody that has cruised there past years, can tell us when they usually open this park for the summer / spring ? Maybe not until after Easter weekend or maybe not even until first of May, surely by then. Anybody know, please let us know ? Thanks
