Hafen Parking Lot

This is the port area of the Canal, south from the city. By autobahn from south: Easiest is when you come on autobahn A73 from south. Watch out for the blue signs 'Hafen' (with a ship symbol). There are 3 exits for the hafen. Take 'Hafen-Ost' and then directly turn left. You are on 'Hafenstrasse', but have to go a bit until a U-turn (opposite direction). Directly above the bridge crossing the canal look out for 'Schiffsanlegestelle' (dock for passenger ships) there is a small parking lot.

• Crowd:Workers coming from the autobahn to take a short rest in the woods ;-)

• Hours:Good time is any afternoon 3pm - 6 pm, when workers take a short stop from the autobahn.
  And after dark.
  Best times: Best in summer.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:In the woods there are lots of mazes. In summer, also some guys take nude sunbathing on quiet places.
  Cruisiest Spots: Lower part of the parking lot, and a short walk down straight into the wood.
• Wheelchair Accessible:No
• Warnings:This area is also visited alot by families, bikers, people with their dogs, or roller skaters. They dont go inside the woods, but be careful. The water police controlling the port are also nearby and sometimes take a short drive around. Dont be too offensive, then they won't bother you.
