Is This Your Business?

This is a restop that has parking lot and a small road wandering through the woods.
Once the forest is in full summer growth, there are a couple of good secluded spots. There are footpaths that go into the woods, and that is where most of the action happens.
Crowd: Truckers, businessmen, blue collar, travelers, campers, commuters, locals.

Neighbourhood: Orangeville, Shelburne, Rosemont

Who's Coming

Truckers, businessmen, blue collar, travelers, campers, commuters, locals.

North of Orangeville about 10 minutes on the west side of Hwy #10. About 1 minute south of Hwy#89. It is just south of the county works yard.
Cross street: Hwy #89
  • Crowd:Truckers, businessmen, blue collar, travelers, campers, commuters, locals.
  • Hours:24 hour access, but closed in winter.
Best times: The history of this location favours noon to 6PM.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park in the back, stand outside the your vehicle. Some take off their shirts and tan. One line that has been used ... "Do these trails lead anywhere?"
Cruisiest Spots: There is a small road that wanders through the woods from the parking lot. Most people park in the wooded area and wait to be approached. Usually people head further into the woods for action. There is a washroom but not recomended during the peak "picnicers" times.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:This is a picnic area. A lot of families, seniors, and county crews stop here.
Warnings: Although there really has been no history of police patrols, discretion and a watchful eye will keep it that way. The OPP detachment is only 5 minutes away, and a call from a shocked straight doesn't leave much time if the police decide to actually react.
