This is a very secluded, very undeveloped park with nearly 2 miles of Lake Ontario shoreline. Great place for nude sunbathing. It is in Cayuga County, and not in Oswego or Wayne county, so there is not a lot of police presence. The County sheriff is a long way away, and is not too interested in policing nudists in the wilderness.
Crowd: All kinds. Lots of hikers and nature buffs. More and more nude sunbathers.

Route 104 to Route 104a (see signs for Sterling Renaissance Festival.) From the West (Rochester & Sodus)104a East into Sterling. Left on Center Road, follow signs to Nature Center. From the East (Oswego, Syracuse) 104a west. At "five corners" turn right onto Old State Road, then right onto McFarland Road. follow signs to Sterling Nature Center.

  • Hours:Open daylight hours. Seems busiest weekends with lots of nude bathers. Plenty of cruising action on weekends, less on weekdays when the "tourists" aren't around.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Make eye contact, give your junk a tug, then head up one of the trails to get it on.
    Cruisiest Spots: Walk along the Dogwood Trail. You will see plenty of secluded coves and nooks. The nude sunbathers seem to hang out further along the trail past the first big bluff.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / It's still illegal in NYS, but if you stay in the secluded coves no one will bother you. Look for the other nudists and follow their lead.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Hit or miss action, but keep spreading the word fellas and it'll pick up. Even if there is no action going on, you can relax and catch some nice rays.
    Warnings: Bring some water. There are NO services in this park. Also, a towel - there are stony beaches, not sandy ones.
