The Kiwanis Path serves as a recreational path for walking, biking, rollerblading, etc. and connects Riverside Park with the Pembroke Marina.
Crowd: Mix of individuals, mostly men 30+ but also some students and younger men from time to time.

The Kiwanis Walkway rund from the Pembroke Marina to Riverside Park. Walkers, bikers, rollerbladers, etc. can start at either end and there is ample parking in both the park and at the marina.
Cross street: Alexander St. @ Marina
  • Crowd:Mix of individuals, mostly men 30+ but also some students and younger men from time to time.
  • Hours:Best time is after dark to 2 or 3am. Men often meet at the marina and some stroll along the path. There is a gazeeboo mid-way and great for hooking up. Very few other people use the path this late at night and the signals are often very obvious if the person is looking!
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just check it out and walk around - almost always someone looking for someone else ;)
    Cruisiest Spots: Pembroke Marina end.
  • Nudity / Policy:Only if you find that special someone ;)
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:It's not well lit everywhere.
    Warnings: Other individuals do use the path of course, so like most places play with caution and keep a heads up.

  • You can park at riverside beach and walk east toward marina. Or just hang out at beach. Very private and better for the closet guys who don't wanna be seen at marina.

  • Park at Riverside and walk path past the senior home to gazebo on river or bit further on to the small bridge. There is some light along that stretch. Or drive under Munro trestle at bottom of hill and and follow road to near pathway. Cars can make it. The small bridge is very close to the end of that road.

  • this will be the week to cruise riverside since on the weekend marina will be too busy with festival. can also park near walkway by driving under trestle at bottom of James street, follow road to clearing and road goes right to walkway.

  • This could be a great spot since it is alot more private than marina. If parking lot gate closed after 11pm just walk across soccer field to the Kiwanis walkway. Park anywhere along edge of soccer fields. Beach is also right there for hot romps.

  • If you do hook up don't be where others can easily see what you're doing, just like the str8's do....although rare, cops do creep thru the pathway in the cruiser with all lights off, and maybe on a bike. One night I had 2 guys working on me and cop came by and when their heads came up so we could all pretend we were looking at the river he asked if everything alright, then drove away. He knew it was a really dumb question!
