Gavilan Road in Hartford Springs
Horseback riding, hiking trails. Not a hot place for police, they don't go out of their way. Police response in the area is 2 hours, so take your time, make sure you take it off the highway, back behind rocks and bushed in the trails or make your own. Poison ivy warning. Bring water and a lunch, sunbathe on a blanket, complete privacy. Have fun and watch out, it's snake season!

cruiser adds: South on Galivan Road from Cajalco Expressway about 1.2-1.4 miles. This park is unmarked but there are S curves under lots of trees the park runs all along the treed section. Very natural. The west side of the road provides the creek and lots of rock formations.
Between Hwy. 15 and 215, off Cajalco Expressway. South on Gavilan Hills Road,
on top of hill. 400 acres, don't get lost, stay under the trees.

Dates open: 24 hours. - Cruising Info/ Tips:Hang out, they do come along. Not for the rushed . Men stop for parked cars.

(You have to be logged in) Add CommentI've been by here several times...it's a great secluded spot...no need to really worry about any law enforcement. I just feel that not enough of us know about it or utilize it. Pretty easy to find if you keep your eyes open and follow the directions above. Haven't been lucky here yet...but has great potential. Anyone want to meet out there sometime?

Update: Found it. 1.3 miles from Cajalco Road there are curves with trees on both sides the area runs to the west of the entire section. Mine was the only car in sight anywhere but when I went down to the stream there was a hot guy with blonde hair, no shirt, tats just sitting there. Potentially good. Hope others can find it, was easy once I really set my mind to finding it.

I have tried to find this place twice with no luck. I am actually heading out today 8/19/08 to try it again. This time I am taking a blanket and book to read just in case I actually find it. Will post later to let you all know what happened.

does anyone have any better directions to this park? i have tried to find it a couple of times and could not... i would appreciate your help!
