cruiser adds: the 'watch tower' in the pic is near where all the action in the dunes happens, and will much better guide newcomers to the area hot to find the right spot.

Legal nude bathing area about 300 meters north of beach entrance (look for the sign). Don't go nude outside this area. Beautiful, unspoilt beach, one of Australia's best, with masses of natural dunes...you would think that you are well away from civilisation. A lot of people sunbake in the dunes to escape the sometimes fierce afternoon winds. Even has beachside refreshment service, courtesy of the local snack bar, via a camp little tractor. Careful of the intense sun during summer, use plenty of sunscreen and take a hat.
