Hey wsbear1 !! Thanks for your honest comments of this not being the place of choice for yourself. After having read your profile, I agree 100% with you. You would be more comfortable in a much more liberal place where you could do just what you wanted. Unfortunately, the law in Arizona binds our hands (not in a good way either!) and labels us personally with criminal records if we are caught permitting public sex. Palm Springs is very lucky to be able to offer this to people wishing to take advantage of screwing, sucking, pissing, munching, feltching etc. etc. in public. I know, it's my choice of vacation too!!!! Too bad for me too!!! I can't even shit in my own backyard!

Stayed at this hotel for the past four years for a week each time. This hotel is a jewel, located in the center of Phoenix, with easy access to everything. Have always found the owners pleasant and helpful . The Villa provides an amazing opportunity to meet other visitors. Rooms and ground are in immaculate condition. This indeed is a real jem in Phoenix.

Went this past weekend and had a good time. Great view from the guest at the pool area, got boyfriend off while some guys came upon and watched. Will be going back pride weekend. Thanks for a great time!

OK, so this Campoutguy has a history. A long time ago, at a different Royal Villa, a certain someone who will remain nameless (for Campoutguy's sake) was asked to leave the premises with police escort if necessary for acting and behaving out of whatever mind he had left. Obviously a midlife crisis assisted by some mind altering substances.
The problem with open forums like this one here at cruise, is that anyone can write and fabrication and it will be printed. Well his story is just that, a fabrication. We offer anyone the opportunity to call us and we will just tell you the truth! We don't lie and we don't do drugs either. Please do not believe everything you read.

Front desk guy is crazed drug addict, FREAKED OUT FOR NO REASON. Screamed and yelled at us before we checked in so we left.
Skip this dump, go to the other place a few blocks away, much nicer people, more relaxed atmosphere

The last entry is right. The Villa is not Palm Springs. If you want Palm Springs, go to Palm Springs or live in Palm Springs. In Arizona we have a bunch of laws they don't have in California. We live by laws at the Royal Villa and don't want to go to jail. It seems that either sex pigs be they local or not, have a problem with us as they are told they can't have public sex here. Go to the Chute or Flex if you want a sex club. They are very nice facilities and will "fit" your every need. Guys, there is a difference between nude sunbathing and public sex.

The owner is just over the top-you never know what to expect? There is no way it can be compared to a Palm springs place. If you want that go to AZ Sunburst-much nicer-more business like attitude. Very nice pool and jacuzzi and parking. Near the bars but definitely not the best part of town!

Well I found the place to have very clean rooms although for price could have stayed a nice resort in Scottsdale. The pool area is very well kept. They do need to make their Guest policy clear as we got a couple lectures on making sure we WALK out any guest we have over. Also a simple no tongue smooch in pool is enough to send the boy over the edge about no public sex. While I think other posters saying he was on drugs is wrong, he goes a bit overboard. Although we were nude in pool it was nothing sexual and it got a roudn og YELLING that was unneeded.


If you are looking for quiet and naked its a very nice place but NEVER consider it a palm springs guest house or use the word frisky about the i place

I would rate it a 3 out of 5 overall but it does have some nice things also you get to make your own bed I guess

I think Mongobear is right...the owner is a little high strung. You scratch your balls you'll get yelled at and I mean YELLED at. There are much better places to stay. Your money is better spent else where and you can hit the baths if you want anything else cause you sure won't find it at the Royal Villa.

I was there on a day pass july 9, this place is great... pool felt wonderful... it was nice to be naked.
