whos coming to Lime Plant

  • In the late 70's I had a friend who would often ask me to accompany him and his other friend to the quarry for some sun and a swim. I never knew it until now, 2008, that they were obviously going to the quarry for some man to man fun. As it turns out, i had man to man fun with both of them many years later, but now I put the pieces together of their constantly inviting me to the quarry to swim and sun.

  • Actually this is in Cheshire, not Pittsfield in case your trying to find on map. It is an old 19th century stone / lime quarry, complete with abandoned buildings and remnants of the town that used to be there. Its pretty cool, and kind of spooky (aka exciting) after dark! I just know it from hiking...never saw any action there but it sure has potential!
