  • Please try to reread and comprehend my original post this time through.

I never said I was arrested. I said that a got a ticket. If you are such an expert with the process that is followed by the rangers at Herring Cove you would know tickets are the method that are typically used.

I know I was an idiot to do it. I stated that I thought "No way' and I meant that he would be possibly interested in me. Note that I said how my little head got the better of me. In retrospect, yes I should have known it was a setup.

Smartbomb, I dont know why I bother to respond, because your ad hom attacks prove your lack of any real point. Once you resort to name calling you loose your credibility.

I am what I am Smartbomb. But you hide behind anonymity without a picture. Keeps us all guessing how bad it must be.

  • Uniformed rangers on the beach again today - Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. Two of them. One male, one female. They walked down the beach on the back side of the dunes to the lighthouse, then turned and came back on the front side of the beach. They really didn't look at anyone along the beach, but they did pay alot of attention looking up at the dunes while they walked on the backside of the dunes. Again, word spread quickly, and people covered up. Didn't witness or hear of anyone getting fined.

  • rangers were on the beach today patrolling on foot. (wednesday, august 20th) the word was spread quickly by some nice guys who walked quickly ahead of the rangers and warned us. those that heard the warning were able to quickly put their trunks on. thank you to those guys who warned us.

  • Spent the last two weekends down there - plenty of nakedness on Herring Cove beach, although it's driven almost all the way down to the lighthouse now. The greenheads are horrible but a few guys ventured out onto the main beach in their birthday suits. No cruising on the beach though - didn't see a single person hooking up, although I got cruised plenty.

  • There are no bathhouses or video stores in P-Town. If you want to cruise indoors, the only place where you can do it the Macho Bar at the Atlantic House, which is a little bar upstairs from the main disco. There is no guarantee of any action, but I've had some hot times up there.

  • Aussie guy here, will be visiting sometime mid-October. Do you guys have any saunas or video stores for indoor cruising? I cant find any listed. I wouldnt be unhappy to meet at the beach in the sand hills, but just worried if the weather is cold, lol.

  • Haven't seen the article in Cape Cod Magazine, but it's pretty slow at the moment. The really active time seems to be later in the afternoon, after 3pm or so. There is a lot of standing around that you will see guys doing, not a whole lot of 'action' per se. The Film Festival is going on at the moment, which seems to be bringing more guys into town. If you go the dunes that attract the most guys are about 1/2 way out from the Herring Cove restrooms, all the way out is just too far for most guys to walk. Also, keep your eyes open because I have seen rangers out there at this time of year ( last year ) none so far the times I've gone so far this season.
