US RT 44 Five Mile River Rest Area

areas

Is This Your Business?

It is just a quiet, pull off-rest area/fishing area on RT 44 in East Putnam. It is frequented by fishermen and kids swimming at the swimming hole right at the pull-off. There does seem to be a steady clientele of men looking for action. Some trolls and older guys, we need to make this a hot spot for hot young guys, too! Hey, the 3- rating is just something I had to pick. I think it could be a hot spot though... :)
Crowd: Well, so far, as I am new here, I have seen mostly middle-aged and older men here. East Putnam is not the traffic capital of the area, hot young guys need to start heading there...

  • OK
I just went bi this place last Friday and all the Jersey barriers are all gone, so I guess this place is OPEN again. Don't know why they closed it to begin with.
I wonder if all the fishermen that visit this place complained and got it opened up.
