Centre Des Sports - Base Militaire Valcartier
The Centre Des Sports/Sports Centre is a gym located in a military base (but not operated by the military and not limited to military clients). One must subscribe to the gym to enter, but it's worth it. The Gym includes weights/muscles room, gymnasium, cardio/workout room, pool, sauna, locker rooms, squash rooms, rock climbing wall, etc.
Neighbourhood: Val-Belair/Shannon
Drive down the "Autoroute Henri IV" and you'll pass by the Military Base/Gym, it is clearly identified "Centre des Sports/Sports Center". When entering the Base, a sort of guardman will ask you where you are headed, answer "The Sports Center" and he'll let you in.
- Hours:Fridays and weekend nights, especially when late.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Linger in the locker rooms. The showers and steam room are adjacent to it so you can wander around naked (as many do) and nobody will be suspicious. Bring a towel with you, however. You may wander in the shower but the best place is the steam room, which is adjacent to the locker room. Everybody inside it is naked and that is where the "action" takes place.
- Nudity / Policy:Yes / Nudity is fine within the locker room/steam room/showers areas. Outside of those, not so much.
- Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Easily accessible for everyone, really.
- Warnings:The only problem possible is the watchman at the entry of the Base, since he will ask you where you are headed. Answer as stated above and everything will be fine. Sometimes janitors/staff persons enter the locker rooms to access the adjacent pool, but they never enter the steam room or even really stop to see what's going on. Just try not to scream with pleasure. ;)
