Abalone Cove Shoreline Park -Beach

110 N until it ends in San Pedro merge to the left at traffic signal to join Gaffey St and continue until you see 25th ST (about 5 miles) and make a right turn. Conitnue until it merges or becomes Palos Verdes Drive South and drive for about 6 miles passing a very bumpy road at Portugese Bend and continue until you see the Park and Parking Lot on the left after a small Crystal Church on the right. Make a U-Turn anywhere safe and park at the lot ($5) Walk along the road eastbound back towards the church once again. You will walk past the house on the right with a Huge square entrance made of stone and past the small hill. At this hill you can also hook up in the tress and shrubs. Continue until you see a small path with a warning referring to the taking of shell fish or wildlife and plants. (this is an ecological preserve) go down this path and 5 min later you will be at the beach.

• Hours:all day beach access but Parking Lot closes from dusk to dawn, usually 6 pm. They wont lock you in but you can risk a ticket if there happens to be ranger nearby. Possibly can park at the church and walk. Limited parking spots outside of lot.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:Hook up at the hill next to the road or at the beach in the shrubs that have been set up for privacy . As always be discreet and lets preserve this place, it is too nice to have tissue paper and littering the area. This place is a hidden gem so lets keep it like that , don't want cops coming by and ticketing everyone for Public Nudity and Lude Conduct and ruing a such a cool place.
• Nudity / Policy:YES, nude beach mostly. Dont know if it i legal but everyone goes nude. Please be discrete when coming to the beach to avoid any attention from the authorities and risking this place be heavily patrolled. Parking attendant seem gay and is polite. Be nice , lets not give him a reason to bring out the cops after he spots a bunch of loud, naked Queens walking to the spot and gibbering about and .
• Wheelchair Accessible:No / No,there are steep trails to the beach; though Park is accessible from road.
• Warnings:ECOLOGICAL PRESERVE so be mindful of the area and DONT litter!! also, this place is not on cops radar so lets keep it like this to avoid it being monitored and spoiled for everyone.
