Best times: Probably better on weekdays when it's less busy, but it really just depends on what you're into. - Cruising Info/ Tips:You're assigned a locker at entrance, but don't pay until the end. A towel boy will get you towels and flip-flops. Proceed to the busy bar area where a variety of Rio "garotos" will try to woo you. Make your selection and the rent boy will go to the front to get a room assignment. Afterwards, return to your locker for cash, discreetly pay him, and check out, at which time you'll pay the entry fee and any bar charges.
Cruisiest Spots: I found a really hunky boy in the upstairs showers. - Nudity / Policy:Yes / Hunky rent boys will sometimes jack off right in the bar in front of everyone. Yippee!
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / Forget it. Long narrow stairways are totally handicap inaccessible.
- Warnings:My garoto led me to believe that he was versatile, but then when it was his turn to bottom, said he didn't do that. Also, some saunas post a rate of R$50 for the boys. This one doesn't, and they'll charge tourists up to R$100.
Warnings: I can't speak for this one in particular, but some saunas have a tendency not to stick to their posted hours. English skills among the boys vary--best to learn some Portugese. If he says he's "liberal" he still doesn't bottom, but will and rim. "Completo" means versatile (according to the guy I had).
