This is a huge parking area, with wooded trails, and there is also a nearby overlook.

From I-95, go west on US158 approximately 9 miles, and turn right on Thelma Road. Go approx. 1.5 miles on Thelma Road, and turn left on Jack Brown Road. Follow Jack Brown Road approx. 2 miles and it curves sharp right onto Johnny Faulcon Road. Proceed past the sign saying "State Road Maintainence ends", and the large parking lot will be on the left, or keep straight to the dam overlook. The parking lot is huge, and there are also wooded trails for more privacy.

  • Hours:24/7
    Best times: Late afternoons and early evenings are best, or meet in town anytime and go here for fun.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Be discreet because families and boaters use the area too.
    Cruisiest Spots: Large parking area is best, but trails can be active too.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:It can be a little busy on the weekends, but again the trails provide even more privacy.
    Warnings: No warnings now, as Sheriff's Department rarely visits, and no city police presence here.

  • We will be having a long weekend coming up so I'll be heading down to the damm to do some fishing and to see whats going on. I hope the weather will be good as well as the views

  • construction is done & it's open again. Should pick up again now. Used to be a good place to go to meet or meet elsewhere & go there for fun.
