Ellison Park
Blossom Road
Ellison Park is one of the smaller county parks on the east side of Rochester and seems to be the only one not listed as a place for cruising in Rochester. And yet, it is a park that is easy to navigate, has the lowest police presence (most of the time) and some of the hottest cruising of any of the the parks in the area.
Neighbourhood: Penfield/Brighton
Cruisy section of the park are the two areas on opposite sides of Blossom Road and down by the tennis courts.

- Hours:Ellison is open year round, although one side is closed during the winter months and on occassion, park will close because of high water or bad weather but not often. Open 6am - dusk.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Like most parks, lots of driving around cruising or sitting in one parking area and letting the cruisers come to you. can be had on trails, in johns, behind pavilions, in your car.....the usual. Lots of tradesmen and construction types at lunch time and dinner hour.
- Nudity / ual Policy:Public park with the usual mix of str8 couples and families, so just dont be too obvious.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / not applicable
- Warnings:Cops on occassion and park rangers patrol there, but if you use some caution and common sense you can still get lots of hot both summer and winter. I was there last week and off a very hot young italian guy and his buddy in his jeep, so is there to be had even during the cold, snowy months. Like most parks, is a mix of hot young gay, bi and str8 men and older men who have been hanging around ther forever but there is almost always action there.
