Is This Your Business?

Car park always open and often used by doggers and gay guys late at night, in day time just stroll into the fields, quite a few cruising in the summer particularly. Not many dog walkers there, so it is easy to spot the guys up for fun. Lots of secluded areas for hot sessions. Across the main road a few yards further down is a wooded path leading to the river where a few guys also go.

Neighbourhood: Strood

Leave Strood, heading towards the A228, Cuxton. On Sundridge Hill, just before the waste amenities site, on the right is Ranscombe Nature Reserve.
  • Directions:Leave Strood, heading towards the A228, Cuxton. On Sundridge Hill, just before the waste amenities site, on the right is Ranscombe Nature Reserve.
  • Hours:The reserve is open all the time, and the car park is never shut. Particularly busy in the early weekday afternoons to about 6pm, a lot of guys coming here now that the Esso cottage is shut and Ashenbank cruising ground is under suveillance. A few families are walking about there at the weekend, so on those days best at night - the car park is shielded from the main road by lots of bushes, and perfect for the doggers.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Either stay in the car park, or got just through the gate - a lot of guys are simply just sitting around pretending to relax until someone catches their eye. Best not to go to far as further back the reserve is quite extensive, though I have taken a couple of guys right through into the woods for extra privacy. Varied type go there, mostly mid 30's, not many old guys, quite a few ''cyclists'' and ''joggers''; the guys I've had have been very nice, a few builders and laborers.
  • Nudity / Policy:I've only ever seen a couple of guys nude sunbathing further back in to the reserve, towards the train track - but had sessions all over the place.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / No wheelchair access, terrain is quite rough in places.
  • Warnings:Never once been caught but please guys - we don't want this going the same way as Ashenbank or Cobtree, and now that its getting busy, please don't leave everywhere - we need this place to keep going - so be discrete!
