  • I seen some police there on Sunday afternoon, one park ranger driving a brown blazer and two undercovers sitting at the second gazzebo. One really tall slim guy and the other was shorter stocky.

  • We were out there Sunday late afternoon sitting under the 2nd gazzebo for a while chatting with friends, and we never saw any undercovers, unless you are talking about us! If so, you are mistaken! The Boy Scouts had a function out there this weekend and a few police officers were out there near the boat ramp, but that was it.

  • No surprise to me. I stopped by there in late August and I can assure you that between the rainbow flags on the bumpers of parked cars and the obvious cruising of the rather pathetic crowd there that afternoon, I can't believe that it has lasted as long as it has. They might as well put a sign on route 64 that says "cruisers this exit". Very desperate looking situation there, I must say.

  • since the flood that hurricane Flloyd brought the park has been cleared of most trees leaving no privacy for you to play--furthermore the police have raided the park and arrested many and put thier names and address on the front page of the local newspaper
word to the wise --- cruise there but go else where to play
