Probably one of the largest gyms in the world, access to the park for running, a floor for cardio fitness, three large ballroom type areas for spinning, boxing, etc., a very large weights area, a sports shop, spa and medical facilities, a restaurant/bar area, a large swimming pool and jacuzzi for hydromassage, and a nice lobby lounge with friendly staff. Members are more formal than other gyms, but are more friendly.
Crowd: White collar joes, bears, the older set - 30 above.
Facilities: Complete- cardiofitness machines, three brands of weights machines and a huge floor area for classes, swimming pool (a rarity in Italy).

Walk from the end of Via Veneto to the park, and the gym is right at the ground level of the car park OR from the Metro, take Spagna (Line A) and upon exiting the train, follow the sign that leads to Villa Borghese, there are a few escalators and 30 meter walk.
Cross street: Via Veneto.

Hours:8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays/saturdays.

Best times: 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 10 p.m.
Cruising Info/ Tips:Walk around. the atmosphere is more conservative than the gay saunas, as there are a lot of straights. Obviously, there are some looking to have fun as well. Most go around in swim trunks in the saunas, and a clue is when one parades naked, going in and out of the sauna.
Cruisiest Spots: Turkish bath, dry sauna and solarium.

Warnings:Overpriced membership - good thing is that they have per-day membership for tourists.
Warnings: This is a straight gym (maybe 70%)compared to fitness first (maybe 20%), so one has to be discreet when cruising.
