Is This Your Business?

Cape Babo is a stretch of coast just south the tourist campsite of Vestar, near the town of Rovinj in Croatia. It is part of a stretch of "wild beaches", where there are no sports grounds, sanitary nor gastronomic facilities. The beaches are mainly stony with a difficult access to the sea, but every 50 to 100 meters there are more accessible little bays. The beaches aren't offically designated as nudist, although, since there are no written rules, they are suitable for nudists. Most, if not all, people at the beach stay in the nude. Because the beaches are secluded with no direct car access, they are rarely as busy as the neighboring more touristy beaches allowing for cruising to take place discreetly.

Neighbourhood: Kokuletovica

Cape Babo is about 5 km away from Rovinj. To reach this part of the coast, you have to go by car and take the road to . When you reach the locality Kokuletovica (which is 4 km away from the town center) you have to turn right and follow the road until the campsite Vestar. In order to be able to continue to Cape Babo take the unasphalted logging path which turns left some ten meters before the campsite entry, after which you follow the path, turning right at every crossroads. Once you reach the sea, keep following the path for another quarter mile, until you reach the end. You then need to park the car and get to Cape Babo on foot from there, by either a small path through the woods or by walking along the coast. By following the path for about 5 minutes, you reach a small, secluded bay which marks the beginning of Cape Bobo. From there onwards drop your clothes and feel free to wander in the nude.

  • Hours:Summer season (May - September), all day. In the busiest months (July - August), cruising is easier in the evenings when straight couples leave, although in September all day is good as there are fewer people and a lot more gays.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Get naked, cruise the beach, sit in one of the bays and fondle yourself, someone will usually join you. I was randomly walking around 5.30-6pm one day in September when I stumbled across a young guy, straight looking, in his early 20s deliberately jerking himself off on the beach that was empty. The next day, I saw two guys jack themselves in one of the bays.
  • Nudity / Policy:Nudism allowed.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Not accessible by wheelchair.
  • Warnings:As always, beware and respect other people, especially straight couples.
