The Tea Party: Brew Share Spill Swallow

Brew a story. Share a secret. Spill the sexy tea of Salt Lake City. Swallow your fear, pride, and HIV/Sexual stigma. This is OUR first event, so we want to hear about YOUR first. The theme of our inaugural night will be "My first..." It can be your first love, your first fu%$, your first kiss, your first kink. Hell, your first STD! These ALL make amazing stories and sharing them (especially the ones you've kept to yourself, until now) has an amazing power to remove shame or embarrassment and replace it with humor and self-love! Everyone will have an opportunity to put their name in the Teapot to be a storyteller. 10 names will be drawn through the night and each person will tell a 5 minute story. Here are the rules! 1. The story should be true. All Tea, No Shade. 2. The story is about you. Spill your own Tea, not someone else's. 3. The story is on theme. Don't be the person in the Lady Gaga meat dress at a Whitney Houston Crack Is Whack theme party. Yes, you look fabulous, but its a look for another night! 4. The story has a beginning, middle, and an end. Avoid Flazeda storytelling. Check out these other storytelling groups to get an idea of just how fun and powerful sharing your stories can be. We'll be watching RuPaul from 7-8 while ya'll socialize and get comfortable enough to spill some serious Tea from 8-10:30 pm.
