    Best times: Around lunch time, lots of white collar guys looking for relief.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just pull in, if there is a single occupant in a vehicle they are probably looking for fun.
    Cruisiest Spots: In the car.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Be careful of highway patrol, especially on bikes, they can pull in super fast and block you in.

  • Yes, we are aware of that fact. And as to your suggestion to leaving your car and walking south, you are inviting a raid. CHP stops here frequently during the evening hours and if they find 2 or 3 empty cars, where do you think they will start looking?? Safer to approach someone you have an interest in and move to another area for joyful fullfillment. Just a warning..I've seen it happen many times.

  • The view/vista area (off the highway) and the lagoon area (off manchester) are two separate areas. Anyhow, if you cruise the vista pulloff area, don't just sit in your cars! If you see someone you like, start walking south along the little trail, and walk down the cliffside into the trees. They may follow, or you can follow them!

  • Beware of the fat, older Park Ranger at San Elijo Lagoon. Many of you meet guys at the view point and go down to the lagoon restrooms. She watches you go in, then when you open the door to leave, no matter how long you may be in the restroom, she is there to confront you. I've seen her hiding in the work shed in the parking lot, watching you walk to the restroom, then makes her move. It has happened about 5 times while I have been there. She even makes walking the pathways unenjoyable. Just be aware.....
