The Center's 45th Anniversary Sapphire Gala

We invite you to join us at the beautiful Hotel Del to celebrate The Center’s Sapphire Anniversary! From what was once a single answering machine set-up in a utility closet, The San Diego LGBT Community Center has grown into a thriving community center that provided more than 65,000 service visits last year alone. Our Sapphire Anniversary represents 45 years of service, and we want to celebrate with you! Our 45th anniversary gala will be a three-part-spectacular! Start at the pre-party with cocktails and a fantastic silent auction in the garden, then enjoy the main event with a 3-course gourmet gala dinner, and top it all off with some extra fun at this year's after-party, full of dancing, live music, and a featured DJ. What other surprises do we have in store? You'll have to join us to find out! Dinner seating is limited to 700, but you can also join the fun at the after-party only. Enjoy socializing, signature cocktails, dining and lots of dancing as we recall the triumphs and challenges of the last forty-five years. Whether you wore bell bottoms, stirrup pants, bike shorts or skinny jeans when you first came to The Center, we hope that you will save the date and celebrate with us for this special anniversary gala.
