cruiser update 3/31/2008 NO CRUISING in the day - families and local residents use this beach and it is heavily patrolled by police on foot, horseback and 4-track all terrain vehicles. Cruising is only very late at night after the bars close. Don't even bother before 1am. Make sure to only go in the area of abandoned building/lots - don't go near houses or condos - people will call the police.... Don't bring any valuables - and be ready to cover-up if necessary... Can be very popular.... but not for the timid....
--------

Guys use this beach to connect for afterdark and especially after the nightclubs close. The action is mostly and occurs in the darker areas and by the trees. Occasional police patrols, but they are mostly concerned with illegally parked cars.
Crowd: Many younger, after the clubs close.
