cruiser adds: This area - known as the local Lover's Lane is not on Ponce de Leon

This is an ocean overlook rest stop. I would guess that it is wide enough to fit 40 cars, parked side to side. Near the exit, there is an overlook park and occasionally, you see folks milling around.
Crowd: Straight/married guys who are looking to get off... and their admirers. However, take note that the most uptight latinos are too timid to be seen there in their cars. So, you generally have a mix of regulars (30's-50's) and the occasional knockout, horned up hot guy who drove off the 'beaten path' just to get off.***br******br***I've seen vans rocking and folks wandering about, chatting near car hoods.***br******br***I'm not a snob, but the guys weren't generally the hottest guys I've seen here.

Neighbourhood: just outside the Old San Juan area

If you're driving on Ponce de leon, from the Hilton, in the direction of Old San Juan, there is a car stop/ocean overlook, that is down to your right.

  • Directions:If you're driving on Ponce de leon, from the Hilton, in the direction of Old San Juan, there is a car stop/ocean overlook, that is down to your right.
  • Hours:My friends and I have driven by at all hours, out of curiosity. Weekend nights, there are cars there from noon well past 6am. Actually, we have never seen this place empty (anywhere from 5 to 30 cars).
Best times: Imagine the time WHEN the type of guy you'd want to meet would be there (lunch, after work, post bars). It's more likely that a straight, married guy would be there after work, as opposed to 3am, right?
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:If you're looking to be the guy who gets serviced, stay in your car. If you're on the service side of things, you're best off walking along the sidewalk in front of the cars. However, this isn't a steadfast rule. The uptight straight guy won't be the one getting out of his car. Those guys, you can peek them playing with their junk when you look in the car window.

If you're the nervous type, drive through slowly and check it out first. You can always loop around and come back.

I'm not a pro, so if u have tips, add them!
Cruisiest Spots: The parking lot fills up the most at the end, near the exit.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Folks gawk through the windows occasionally. Air conditioning is kinda helpful. It's so popular, it's almost a tourist attraction.
Warnings: In my book, this place is ridiculously cruisy and you should be careful. There is little doubt why you would be there.

Thave been occasional raids and the police take advantage in roughing folks up because they're not exactly going to report where the incident took place.

Despite the raid, the locals still go there because it's sort of easy to spot the police entering the area, especially if you're parked 300 yards away, near the exit. Enough time to zip up and act proper.

the building in the background is the Puerto Rican National Guard building!!! So caution is recommended."
