  • An hour ago I saw two diferent men who appeared to be UC in the area. They were both pretending to be cruising but their mannerisms and dress made it clear they were cops. They were either "trainees" getting some practice or just being blatant to show the "locals" that they are working the area. BE CAREFUL!!!

  • A very reliable source who is in a position to have realiable knowledge has told me that two SDSD deputies ( Karupis and Seals ) are actively working undercover in this area due to the high incidence of burglaries committed by homeless drug abusers living in the park west of Carlton Hills Blvd. Karupis is usually wearing an old stained military camoflauge jacket. I'd curtail any activity is this area. I'm sure they would not ignore any cruising action if they encountered it.

  • He may not have been politically correct, but Santee is still a great place to live/work. You can walk the streets at any hour safely and park your car without it getting vandalized/stolen. The high degree of owner occupancy and higher than average home costs/incomes keeps a lot of "riff-raff" away. That just makes the cruising more subtle. Also, Lakeside is the trailer park capital of east county.

  • Summer is here and this place is crowded with families most of the time.....many on the trails. Wait for cooler weather and earlier sundowns.

  • Lately, this place has been so crowded that cruising is stiffled.
