Wal-mart

I saw an obvious cruiser get thrown out of this place this morning. Public cruising in a public place like a chain store rest room has to be subtle and quiet. This guy was so obvious it was almost funny. A manager type guy with the security guard "back up" asked him to leave. ,,, and he did. The Vulcan bunk room and the bathroom area at a suburban Wal-Mart are two different places.

This afternoon I saw a known cruiser get walked out by Deputies with his hands cuffed behind his back and hauled away in a marked patrol car. I think this place is currently too hot to be cruised.

Regarding mjc92105's comment about Walmart: I worked at a Wal-Mart and there are many 'managers' there. And, the corporate security and audit snoops would get anyone fired ( or even prosecuted locally ) in a heartbeat over allowing or fostering cruising in a store. This place tries to promote a family-friendly atmosphere and no one individual could control allowing cruising. At most stores the bathrooms are under direct observation by the old ladies at the Customer Service Desk and everyone going in or out is seen and videoed. We should remember the World Headquarters for Walmart is in rural Arkansas, not West Hollywood.

A friend of mine works here. The management is aware of the action in the men's room and is trying to shut it down. They keep track of the bathroom usage ( the door is visible from the customer service desk ) and being a private business are able to enter anytime. The housekeeping people are instructed to visit the room often to scare away cruisers and I'm sure the Sheriff has been contacted AND no one wants to deal with those Rednecks.

A friend of mine works here and told me the management/security staff is aware of the bathroom being a cruising spot and is making an effort to stop the cruising here. The back door to the customer service area is kept now so they can see the door to the bathroom and keep track of people going in/out of the bathroom. The SDSO has also been requested to "john" this place. I'd be very careful here.
