Take the Metro to Belem (Red Line). Exiting from the Platform turn right over the bridge. Turn back along alley where buses stop and turn left into R. Pe. Adelino then Right into R. Serrar de Jaire. Walk up the hill (three traffic lights) & turn left into Lacerda. Baths are on the right.

Warnings:This is a basically straight sauna, so use some discretion, but plenty goes on. Some gays like the atmosphere at such saunas - the element of risk, I suppose. The heteros seem to stay mainly in the wet sauna. UPDATE: JUNE 2004 - They have added an extra floor with a "pseudo-gay flag" prominently displayed. This means that the closeted bi's and the heteros do not go up there. Plenty of action in TV room and Sundeck - No cubicles though.
