Very nice park - open 24 hours (apparently as I've never seen the gate closed). Parking lot is secluded and plenty of warning when other cars are coming into the lot. Plus there are plenty of good hiding spots throughout the park.

Neighbourhood: West Hill

South on Port Union from 401, turn right (west) on Lawson Road, turn right into park entrance off Lawson. Alternatively turn right on Rozell Road off Port Union (before you get to Lawson) and follow it to the other park entrance.
Cross street: Port Union & Lawson Road
  • Hours:After sunset / before sunrise as there are houses fairly nearby (although even in the daytime there's plenty of places to hide out).
Best times: After dark because park is surrounded by people's backyards.
Dates open: Open year round it would seem
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No

  • This park is surrounded by people's backyard, and also the trees are sparse and does not provide enough privacy for anything. Perhaps after dark is a different story.

  • Hi guys..been coming here several nights in the last few weeks..seems like a perfect cruising spot after dark.

Occasionally have seen cars come through, who look like they're possiibly cruising..but haven't had the guts to even make eye contact.

Word to the wise, however: if you're a) gonna stay in your car with your tinted windows all rolled up, or b) stop your car with your headlights on full right at my face...you're not persuading me to get out of my own car. Park a spot or two down from me, with windows rolled down or something, let me check you out a bit...or get out of the car and walk down the trail a bit so I can see you.

Just a tip 'cause I'm anxious to try stuff but need to get past my nerves..

    Anyone go here?
