Taungurung Rest Area

Coming from Nagambie towards Melbourne on the GV Hwy, you will see it, it's the only rest area there. It is well signed. Going from Seymour to Nagambie, I often do a U-ie and go back there. Coming from the Hume towards Nagambie, you'll see it on ya right, a bit further past it, you will see a crossover sign, near the emergency phone sign, do a u-ie there and head back.cruiser adds: Heading towards Nagambie from Seymour,If you miss the crossover on the freeway, you can continue on to the Mangalore exit, it's not far. Do ya Uie there and head back. Is starting to pick up here. Heaps of writing on the dunny doors! It's great!!!

• Hours:Would probably say during the day, Can be anytime.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:There is a toilet block with 2 cubicles and writing all over the back of the door and it can be pretty deseerted at times but even if there are a few people around, there's plenty of bush to go into nearby. There's a walking track.

• Wheelchair Accessible:No / There are handicap bays and a handicap dunny.
• Warnings:Just the usual, breeders and grey nomads in their caravans seem to come here. Be careful. They are more of a bloody annoyance than a threat.
