  • Some dude tried to pick me up there this week but I was short on time and quite frankly wasn't in the mood. I live in town and spend many a evening here just walking around looking at the gardens and never saw anyone crusing here until now. There is a pretty good secluded area if you know where to find it. Park in rose garden parking lot off of Metlars lane. When you go into the lot go to your left towards the big evergreen trees. Walk straight back through the trees towards the stream (you'll hear a waterfall). When you get to the stream make a right and follow the stream up to you get a footbridge that goes over the stream. Cross the bridge. On the other side of the bridge is a big open field that most people doen't even know exists. Walk diagonally across the field to the far left corner. You'll find a little clearing with a short path and at the end is a perfectly secluded little place. You'll know your in the right spot if you can see a horse farm in the distance through the trees. Private and great for a quickie!

  • This is a good place to meet someone, but there is no place to play. Better to meet hear and go somewhere else to play.

  • I was there today just to check things out since I'm live rather close. I walked the trails and found that it's not very dense and there doesn't seem to be any really private area to have any fun. I did meet someone there and he followed me back to my place, which is really the only way to go. There were several empty cars there when I arrived, but no one on the trails. A few cars pulled in as I was leaving with my "date". Probably a good place to meet someone and then go somewhere else more private.

  • After turning right off Elizabeth Ave. into the park make a left into the 1st parking lot. There is a trail into the woods.
