Rum Village Park
This cruisy park has a mile loop around
which there are several places to park.
From the loop, trails lead into the
perimeter woods or into the interior of
the park. Guys cruise the trails taking
action into the brush. Police do occasional
patrols but have not chased anyone away.
On West Ewing Avenue, in the city's south
west corner.

The city of South Bend, is out to rid this park of cruiser's. Increased patols of uniform and plain clothed officer's are waiting to arrest offenders. Also, neighborhood residents are patoling with cell phones programed to dial 911 direct to catch people in the act.
