When you are heading towards worthing from Shoreham there is a petrol station on the left and a road going into a housing estate beteween the petrol station and royal coach pub. Follow the road all the way round until it feels like you're turning back on yourself and there's a road called Forthaven. Turn down there and you'll come to the Old Fort.
