Pointe de Chemoulin (Plage de Jaunais)
Of the three nude beaches near St-Nazaire, this is the closest. Because it is relatively small it does not draw the crowds of the larger Plage de Pen Bron. While this beach is not officially clothing optional, nudity seems to be tolerated freely. This beach is sometimes called Plage de Jaunais and is very popular with local gay men.

From St-Nazaire head west on route N171 for a few kms., then exit south on D492 for 4kms to a roundabout. Go halfway round (i.e. straight ahead)onto D292, proceed south 3kms to St-Marc where D292 turn west and parallels the coast. After 1km. watch for sign to campground called Les Jaunais. Access to beach is near the campground via a steep series of steps. On the beach walk east to small nudist cove.
