update 11/18/2008: This has been closed for over a year now. The pictures show wooden outhouses that have been removed and parking is no longer allowed. Police still monitor the area.


Mostly outdoor action in the bushes and trees. (Editor: A cruise fan writes: "it is not a truck stop as no trucks are allowed. It is a park with picnic tables along a river -- not good in summer as families go there and some gangs.")

  • Stopped by yesterday. Lower parking lot is no longer blocked and the no parking signs are gone. Only two other guys there. Walked the trail and you can tell this place is no longer active. This place you to swarm with guys and on a number of occasion, hot group action. Very sad indeed to see it go.

  • now thay have made the second parking area a no parking zone. i passed by there the other day. there was a few cars on the opposite side of the road at the call box parked. i didint stop but seems like this place is a no go now.. damn was a hot spot.......

  • The outhouses are gone ande they've posted no parking signs and moved the boundaries at the old location, but you can still park up the road a ways near the culvert area, you'll usually see cars parked there, and you can go walking back and forth and find many fun activities happening. I call it the enchanted forest area.

  • Well- drove by today and saw for myself the parking lot closed. Too bad. A few cars parked down the road a bit but don't think any action going on. Seems the action in Niles is gone for good :-(

  • Looks like the parking area is completely closed down with cement barriers. I don't think there is any parking left at all. Perhaps they are renovating, but more likely the park is a goner.
