Tardinghen Dunes
Nude sunbathing occurs in the dunes behind the beach, which is often called Plage de Wissant even though the town of that name is several kms. east. Officials seem to tolerate nudity in the dunes and nudity is more common in the dunes to the west of the beach access.

From Calais head southwest on route D940 which parallels the coast. After 23kms. you will reach the small settlement of Tardinghen, where there is a turn off for the beach. The nudity occurs in the dunes behind the beach, so head in either direction from beach access and then into the dunes.
