This is part of the Huron National Forest and you can enjoy a lot of guys just by walking nearby into the woods.
Crowd: This is a trailhead for folks to ride their ORV's and snowmobiles, but many times there are people just parked near the restroom facilities.

This is a trailhead for folks to ride their ORV's and snowmobiles, but many times there are people just parked near the restroom facilities.

From Hale, take Esmond Road towards Sand Lake and it will become Vaughn Road. Approximately 1/4 mile before you reach Indian Lake Road the Trail Head is on the left hand side.
Cross street: Indian Lake Road
  • Crowd:This is a trailhead for folks to ride their ORV's and snowmobiles, but many times there are people just parked near the restroom facilities.
  • Hours:This is open during all daylight hours and it is not blocked at night, but there are no lights (can make it fun also)
    Best times: I've met people there around noon and also early evening.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Meet up in the parking lot and take a walk on any of the number of trails that go into the woods
    Cruisiest Spots: The restroom is best area, but it is unisex so you don't want to spend a lot of time in it.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:There are a lot of bugs early in the summer until the area dries out.
    Warnings: This is a public area and will be frequented by families so be discreet.

  • Stopped by this place yesterday and while I didn't see anyone there, it certainly seems like a great place to meet up with someone and take a walk along one of the trails. If anyone wants to stop by, just let me know when and I'll be there
