There are plenty of areas to walk to that are private as you are in the middle of Huron National Forest, or you can stay right in your car if you prefer.
Crowd: Many people go here to just hike in the summer and to cross country ski in the winter. Younger and Middle Age guys are in abundance.

From Tawas driver North on Monument Road from M55 approximately 7 miles. You will see signs for both Corsair and Silver Creek. They have large parking areas.
Cross street: Tuttle Road
  • Crowd:Many people go here to just hike in the summer and to cross country ski in the winter. Younger and Middle Age guys are in abundance.
  • Hours:I've seen action here at various times during the day, but around noon and also late afternoon seem really good.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just make eye contact and you both will know if you are there for the same reason.
    Cruisiest Spots: Stick close to the parking lots and watch for cars to enter.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Watch for park rangers as they stop in on occasion. They don't come very often though.
