Priorslee Balancing Lake is a large reservoir surrounded by a grass verge and bushes. The cruising area includes the bushes surrounding the lake and the lay-by which overlooks the lake.

Come off the M54 at Junction 4 northbound. Take the fourth exit off the roundabout. This takes you on to Castle Farm Way. This road used to be named the B5060 (and still shows as such on most maps), however it has been renamed the the A4640. There is a long lay-by on the left which overlooks the lake and in which you can park and then walk down to the lake. The UK ordinance survey grid reference is S5724094.

  • Hours:The cruising takes place in the bushes surrounding the lake. Activity takes place after dark and late at night. Some activity also takes place in the cabs of trucks which park overnight on the lay-by.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Enter in a casual conversation with anyone around the lake to ascertain whether they are dog walkers or bird watchers rather than cruisers. Those without dogs or binoculars tend to be cruising.
  • Nudity / Policy:Some nudity takes place in the bushes at night.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / If the ground around the lake is slippery after rainfall those who find walking difficult will need to take extra care not to slip.
