Plage de la Pinede
Thonon-les-Bains is a resort town located in the French Alps and situated on the south shore Lac Leman. The nude beach is well attended but not crowded and is backed by a pine grove. Gay men tend to gather at the east end of the beach.

This beach is rather secluded even though it is accessed from the town's large municipal beach, which is located at the eastern end of town on a street called Quai de Ripaille. Take the paved path around the swimming pool complex to the lake then walk east (right facing the water) for 1.5 kms. The clothing optional area is signed, gay men gather further east past the straight nudists.
