This fairly secluded park can be cruisy
during the day. There are several trails leading in to the woods and they usually have a number of guys on them. Use some caution as a few guys may only be there to fish.

On State Park Road, from I-77 use either Troutman exit and follow signs to the park.
  • Hours:Park is open from dawn until dusk.
    Best times: Daytime.
    Dates open: Park is open from dawn until dusk.
